Interesting conversation I had with a friend of mine the other day. Ladies and gentleman I would like to share my thoughts on this and would also love to hear yours. So here is the million dollar question: If a man falls in love once in his lifetime and that relationship didn't pan out, is he not able to love again? Ever? Do men just decide to be single and play the field for the rest of their lives?
According to a good guy friend of mine, he says that if a guy doesn't want to commit to you the reason may be that he had fallen in love once, or maybe twice before, and if it didn't work out they have a hard time committing and loving a woman once again. For this reason they go from woman to woman never wanting anything serious again. In contrast to women who, in his words, we have the capability to "recycle" men, and feelings. Can we really recycle guys? I can only speak for myself and say that I can move on from one break up and completely forget about an ex and my feelings for him and meet someone new. I can love another man. Is that what he referred to as "recycling"?. I'm not sure if that's the right terminology to use, but in any case I believe that us women can definitely love more than once or twice in our lifetime. I believe love is abundant and not limited to one person. So why would uncommitted men and Casanovas not be able to love again after their first heartbreak?
This conversation got me thinking about all the men I loved and the man I dated. It also helped me understand more in depth about the previous relationships I had with my past 3 partners. They all share 3 characteristics: 1. They cannot commit; all three of them said the same thing to me: "let's just be casual, no commitments or titles" 2. They like getting women's attention and validation- the Don Juan syndrome- they cannot have enough attention from girls! Lastly, they all have truly loved a woman in the past, and somehow it didn't work out. Am I crazy or am I seeing a trend? I need your advice on this. Whether you're a woman or a man, young or old. What do you think about this? It would be very interesting what the ladies have to say about this. Ciao for now!
